1 · What is Waterfall Training 什么是瀑布式训练
Most bases run 4 barracks. Training every barracks from tier 1 wastes time, because each barracks sits idle between queues while resources pile up. Waterfall Training avoids that by keeping the 4 barracks a few levels apart on purpose:
- Barracks #1 (your lowest-level barracks) finishes training or promoting first.
- Its highest-level survivors then move up into Barracks #2, topping it off.
- Barracks #2's survivors move into Barracks #3, and so on down the line.
- Because you are promoting troops that already exist instead of training brand-new ones each time, the whole chain finishes faster and cheaper than training all 4 barracks in parallel from zero.
Why it works
Promotion (upgrading an existing troop's tier) is faster and cheaper than training a brand-new troop of that tier. Waterfall Training chains promotions across barracks so no barracks — and no resources — sit idle.

3 · Step-by-Step 分步操作
Pre-fill the Drill Ground
Ahead of time, train troops to fill your Drill Ground so you have a pool ready to promote.
Promote Barracks #1 first
Barracks #1 is your lowest-level barracks, so it should finish its promotion first. Use speedups here if you want the chain to move faster.
Move survivors up the chain
Once Barracks #1 finishes, move its highest-level survivors into Barracks #2. When Barracks #2 finishes, move its survivors into Barracks #3, and so on.
Match the level table
Use the Barracks Level Table above to know what level each barracks should be at for your current HQ level, and which troop tier is worth training that week.
Repeat every training day
Keep cascading week after week so every barracks stays a few levels apart and none of them sit idle.
4 · Timing & Tips 时机与小贴士
- Line up your promotions to land on troop training day for maximum VS points.
- Stack training buffs when you have them — for example, holding Minister of Defense adds +20% training cap and +20% training speed.
- Don't dump all your speedups on one barracks; save some for the barracks further down the chain so the whole cascade finishes close together.
- If your barracks levels drift too far apart, use the level table to plan which one to upgrade next.
